- Fits 5 Inch OD Tailpipes: This 5 to 6 inch exhaust elbow tip slides over a matching tailpipe with a 5-inch outside diameter. Measure your existing pipe and check clearance for the full 23-inch length before ordering, including space around the bumper, tires and mud flaps. Some layouts may require cutting or adjustment.
- Clamp-On Installation with Included Clamp: Includes a 5-inch mounting clamp. Slide the elbow over a compatible tailpipe, adjust its orientation and tighten the clamp. Welding is not required when the pipe provides a suitable mounting section and the clamp holds securely. Check for movement after installation; custom setups may require professional fitting.
- Chrome-Plated Heavy-Duty Steel: Made from approximately 2 mm thick carbon steel with a black finish for a bright truck appearance. The pipe body is not stainless steel and can rust, particularly where the finish is damaged. Regularly remove road salt and grime and dry the surface to help maintain its appearance.
- 135 Degree Bend for Side-Exit Style: The angled turndown profile adds a bold finishing touch to compatible truck exhaust setups. Position the outlet with adequate clearance from nearby vehicle components. Any change in exhaust tone depends on the engine, muffler and existing exhaust system.
- For Diesel and Gas Truck Exhaust Setups: Designed for appearance upgrades, tailpipe extension and replacement on matching 5-inch OD exhaust systems. A light protective oil film may be present from storage and shipping. Wipe clean and inspect the surface for shipping damage before installation.
