Teexpert joined NALP, a national association for landscape professionals, to learn from the industry and build for real outdoor needs. Can this rock glue be used with mulch? No. This product is not recommended for mulch. In our own testing, performance on mulch was poor. However, it is reliable for use with small stones or pea gravel, where repeated testing has shown consistently strong and stable results. Can it be used on slopes or uneven surfaces? Yes. This formula helps reduce shifting on slopes and uneven terrain when applied properly. For best results, apply generously and allow it to fully dry before foot traffic or heavy use. Does it have to be applied in good weather? Yes. Apply only in dry, sunny weather. There must be no rain during application and for at least 48 hours before and after to allow proper bonding and curing. Will water pass through after curing? Yes. Once fully cured, the adhesive forms a bonded structure that allows water to drain naturally without pooling. Is a second coat really necessary? Yes. Two coats are required for best results. The first coat penetrates and bonds, while the second coat reinforces the surface and ensures long-lasting stability.
